Balthier could use a friend who is also Not From This Time (his world is vaguely 1700s, but it has like magic and flying ships and stuff).

Balthier is a sky pirate with a noble heart; he's technically villain aligned, but he's mostly chaotic good. He just doesn't trust people who say they are Organized Good Guys due to a shitty government/aristocracy he was born into.
