Player Name & Pronouns: Lauren, She/her Preferred Communication:blauren or kobrakidding#0888
Character Name & Journal: Spock intermingled Guild Affiliation: Spock will want to learn about the world here before committing himself completely, but his morals line up very well with the Guardian Alliance. Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: Spock would very much like to find a place where he belongs, having spent most of his life feeling torn between his parents' two cultures and fitting in in neither. He does not allow himself to admit that he wants these things, but he has admitted how painful it is to hide so much of himself all the time once or twice. Given a new environment, Spock will immediately be looking to understand the world around him and find a place where he can at least do good by his own moral standards. Having just been given heartfelt advice to reach out to people instead of further isolating himself, he will also give it his best fumbling attempt to make connections with other people. Longterm, I would like him to succeed in making connections and finding a place, but for him to have to work for it all.
Plot/CR Hooks: Spock believes very strongly in helping people and working for the betterment of the many over the few. He also really loves science and any opportunity to combine these will make him about as happy as a Vulcan will allow themselves to be. He will easily offer scientific assistance to any heroes who might need support and though he does not have his Starfleet or Vulcan technology, he does have an eidetic memory and has a wealth of scientific knowledge within his own mind. He is not particularly tactful or kind in his approach to people, but he is also not intentionally cruel (most of the time) and can be trusted to be honest, even if he is also likely to sometimes be withholding. Though he is very confident in himself and his skills and knowledge, he is a little brother who has just lost his big sister and if given an opportunity to fill a little brother role, he might be inclined to lean into it if someone were to remind him of Michael. He is also very early in his long life and long career (this is pre-The Original Series by a few years) and not as likely to take command of a situation unless he sees a vacuum of leadership. He's not used to not having orders at this point.
tldr: Does your character need a salty space elf science nerd sidekick who will talk back?
