Player Name & Pronouns: Kai, she/her Preferred Communication:ectoplasmfear or ectoplasmfear#9086
Character Name & Journal: Tara Markov & judascontract Guild Affiliation: She's undecided for the moment. She'll likely stay independent until she's gotten a good grasp on the local politics and decided whether she cares. The Society is probably more likely though, considering she is a (partially) reformed villain. Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: She's currently just planning to survive and run away from the consequences of her actions as a teenager. Personally, I would like for her to start treading the path of either becoming a hero or a villain in her own right now that she's currently away from both Slade and Brion aka the devil and the angel on her shoulders.
She's very much a mercenary at her core, and operates solely on the principle that she should use her powers for her own interests instead of breaking her back trying to earn the love and trust of non-metas, who she thinks will immediately turn on her at the earliest chance. She is, however, starting to figure out she's not pure evil at her core actually, and that maybe a lot of her directionless hate was fostered by Deathstroke's manipulation, and on top of that she's identified that she does actually feel guilty for all the things she did to the Titans. So there's a lot of places she could go but first off I'd like to get her invested! Plot/CR Hooks: Tara will pretty quickly go back to bodyguarding for people who can afford her just to afford things, even though she could technically just give herself a lot of diamonds (She didn't think of it. She's remarkably uncreative.) Her clients range from philanthropists, political leaders, CEOs, mob bosses. This can be a good way for her to have forced collaboration or confrontation if she's bodyguarding a real scumbag, or if her clients force her to actually help with the bigger problems.
I think I'll also have her briefly be affected by the flowers, break out of it, freak out and then promptly kill every flower in a square mile with her powers. She'll then REALLY want to kill whoever planted the mind controlling powers, so she might need to be talked down a bit.
