if jaskier still needs help swimming, he has a buddy that will be arriving with him that can (1) swim really well since he's from a snowy town by the coast and (2) has water-based elemental powers (that he occasionally uses to throw water whales at ppl).

childe also has some pretty hefty trauma in his bg that he's streamlined into becoming a battle-hungry violent gremlin, but he?? actually comes off surprisingly light about the whole thing. like the boy could have edgy angst about it but he doesn't at all. how do we channel our trauma effectively?? FIGHT.....
