NEW PLAYERS
Players accepted in this calendar month do not need to reply to this post. Instead, visit the TAKEN CHARACTERS page and ensure that all character information is posted and up to date. Double-check that all your character's game information is correct — including community membership, character tags, and the listing on the GUILDS page.

CONTINUING PLAYERS
All continuing players must check in. Failure to complete the form below by the last day of the activity check-in period may result in characters being swept from the game. Players can reapply for their swept characters during the next application cycle. Players have until September 30th to reply.

FORM

The form below asks players to summarize their character's actions for the month. When completing the form, players should consider aspects of their characters' lives like work, resource gathering, interpersonal relationship development, personality growth, and how the character's reputation with the guilds and the world at large may have changed.

Players of these characters have passed their decision deadline and lost their residency in the Diadem Hotel. Therefore, this month, these players must link to the character's comment on the GUILDS page in their summary. (Remember that there is an Unaligned header!) This form creates a resource for others to check membership status as well as a record of employment and housing.

She's frequenting the Ascendant before she moves out of Central (and has met Tim Drake), and met Sephiroth at the Sunset Falls library as she's getting a position there. She has visited the Little Love fair and spoken to various other residents and visitors!

She is going to settle into Sunset Falls, internally screeching about October because October, and decide how active in the Alliance she wants to be.

Summary: Godzilla largely took things easy this month. He took a little pride in being right on how to prevent the world from crumbling into pieces, but was content to return to a relatively normal life after that. He focused on practicing reading and writing, looking after Bart's chickens and casually going on strolls. He even visited the county fair and got to hang out with Tim Drake a little, glad to see he was doing better.

True opportunity struck near the end of the month, when Godzilla was approached by one of the Lokis. He and a group of magicians known as The Club offered to pay for his services in working with their interests, one of which he was told included combating physical threats that may come from it. Unsure what to make of it at first, he agreed after Loki noted being able to give him something he's wanted for a long time: the ability to speak. Thanks to his magic, the kaiju is now able to do exactly that and thrilled to be able to express himself in ways others can easily understand. Godzilla knows they may call on him at any time, but he can practice reading and writing some more in the meantime.

Had a memory share with Otto that was pretty wild but they're still friends so it's fine right?

Summary:
Six has been living as frugally as possible just in case the guilds decide that the money needs to be paid off somehow. However, mostly he's been staying away from people to minimize any risk of spreading the nanites though he'll be learning in one thread with Prodigy that the nanites will be sticking with him. He doesn't know if they'll go off at any point, obviously, but he at least doesn't need to worry about spreading the infection.

He's starting to look more into the guilds since he knows he's going to need a lot of monitoring in case he does "pop" at some point. Possibly one of these people will come up with a permanent cure that he can bring back to his world. However, he does know that such things don't come cheap. He's collared himself to one organization before (Providence) so another isn't such a hardship. However, he wants to make sure if he does join a guild that he doesn't end up regretting.

As for anything for Rue Moore (heh), it'd be kind of funny if rumors were starting about a stranger in a green suit periodically spied training in isolated areas with a pair of swords that seem to cut through anything. Six was kind of a celebrity back home thanks to the work of Diane Farrah's show Ultimate Exposure, and it'd annoy the hell out of him to become one again.

Summary: Sephiroth avoided the dream sharing and had a pretty chill month. He helped get the Sunset Falls library back in order after the previous month's chaos, is starting to figure out how to fly, and talked with Mark some about his photography and the state of meta relations. Finally, he accidentally went on a date with his BFF Loki, so he's a little confused on the exact nature of that relationship.

Summary: David had an emotionally dark month. Still drained from the Metaverses adventures, he spent a lot of time angry over the way the guilds were failing to protect Metas, more time trying to plan exit strategies for his friends in Excelsior, and no small amount of time moping. He was spared from doing this exclusively by the attentions of his boyfriend, but also with tons of texting with his ex-Tommy, planning a YA dinner with Tommy and Loki (and yes, he created his on Kugel Ramen fusion cuisine). As Prodigy he is working on a side project with Six to try and determine how dangerous his nanites would be (answer: not very).

Summary: This month was a bit of a wash for me due to work stuff and a short vacation, but after another actual vacation the first week of October all my work training is done and I'll now be part-time so that should resolve most of it. I'm just pretending my guys were in the background for some world events and plan to backtag with a few people that still want to once I'm back. I plan to set up a few older things and focus on doing some retroactive stuff when I get back.

If things don't let up I'll probably see if dropping a character helps.

For now, I'm mostly pretending Kon's been mulling over talking to Frances and the rising tensions in Meta and trying to decide if he made the right choice about his guild status and if he wants to do something more open and direct in talking about being a clone than just mentions in other people's comments.

I'm having him post about it when I'm back. And maybe grabbing some buds to engage in the queer scene now that he's figuring out his stuff.

Summary: Since he's gonna pop in and out like jack in the box, right now he's probably trying to assert at least a little control over the criminal underworld in erratically violent ways. He's not the machiavellian type and he doesn't want total control like some would but he is the type to use madcap violence to gather resources, like winning over mooks by violently killing their leader and anyone that doesn't decide they suddenly want a change in employer, or forcing other gangs into weapons deals by explosively killing their allies or competitors and making it clear it's the price of not doing business. He's the type to terrify people into certain connections that net him weapons, explosives, and technologies that he uses in his crimes, so he's doing his between-plot building in the background.

I plan to pop some ideas in plot engagement when I get back.

He's underplaying both his experience and exactly how much he's capable of doing as both a speedster and someone who can create energy dupes with similar powers, as well as not advertising his eidetic memory to the guild. Outside of that, he's enjoying a slow life on the farm in Little Love, and his chickens are beginning to produce eggs as the growing season is heading towards a fall harvest.

Summary: Sleeper is staying independent of those guilds as much as possible, and keeping their presence to those they enjoy the company of rather than going out to cause or prevent trouble. They've moved in with Eddie and Dylan Brock at Diana's farm in Little Love, mostly because the family needs someone responsible around, and they'll do. They've also struck up a friendship with Jason Todd which is unusual on several levels, and helped out when they've had to with things like the riots and problems. Other than that, they really aren't doing much outside of becoming an internet meme personality that people are arguing over the reality of.

Jason had been staying low-key for most of September while he ramped up his criminal activities. He quit his day job as a mechanic and is now a full-time gang leader/vigilante. Though he's still staying at Candy Lofts, he's got one safehouse in Central that no one knows about and is looking to have more. Besides continuing secure his position as a crime lord, he's planning to eventually talk to Johnny Red-Eyes to get a better idea of how the Society work and if they're a good option to consider for the future.

When not being a gang leader or a vigilante, he's been slowly but surely renovating the BatGym so that he and the rest of the BatFamily can use it.

He also confronted Steve about accidentally stealing his stuff, talk to Doreen as a civilian while pretending it's the first time they've met, anonymously talked to Laurie about famous books, and met Chris while helping her stop a bank robbery.

Summary: Nico was sent to school, literally kicking and screaming his way through his first day. After his "you'll never take me alive" first post when he arrived and his beating up a giant robot with a bunch of other kids last month, I'm sure he's on someone's radar as a bad kid. He's been attending school sans dragging onto the bus physically since then, but has had detention nearly every day.

He had a busy day there - got in an argument with Dana, met Ciri, continued to get to know Dylan, got along rather well indeed with Kid!Loki's school alterego which I'm sure won't be any worry at all. Elsewhere this month, eh chatted with Hibiki and worried Dr. Strange with his basically being a wandering teenager interested in the Hellmouth. His card and Diadem stay only just ran out, but he was saved from the choice between sucking it up and joining a camp and homelessness by the arrival of Will Solace, who he is now going to use as a source of food and a hot shower. He also went to a country fair and got in a public fight with Venom, as one does.

He had lived off the card and returned to the Diadem for showers only since arrival, mostly sleeping else where because the enchanted beds made him anxious.

Summary: Went to the county fair in Little Love, where he hung out with Godzilla and basically acted like a Stranger in a Strange Land minus the whole creepy sex cult. As no one took him up on the hall of mirrors toplevel, I'm going to say he crept through employee only section of the maze and found nothing. He would be careful about it. Although these two took place on the Crisis Log, all but the top levels happened were done in September so they weren't previously reported: he finally found out Damian's here, and he's still working at the Ascendent, where he met Mayuko and her puppers, Jun. Chatted with Medium Loki a bit. He attended on of Frances Starling's support groups, after which is when this exchange will take place. Whether it's enough to put him on Frances' or the guilds radar is up to you. Finally, he's in the process of getting into an argument with Kon.

Off panel, he's patrolling low level street crime and looking still looking into the disappearances of teenagers that was happening this summer, which I definitely want to ask about on the plot post.

Summary: I meant to do something heroic with Tommy this month, but Nico's threads exploded so hard that Tommy had to get backburnered. He did have a couple of, uh, interesting inbox threads involving the twin bad life decisions of hooking up with YA Loki and then agreeing to have dinner with Loki and David the next night so uh. Summary: Aside from the chill cool normal thing that is having a man locked in his basement while he hunts for the means to break a spell, Stephen's month's been pretty calm. He portaled Nox to his space ship. He's discussed with Eddie his plans to set up some kind of magic school/apprenticeship programme in Sunset Falls to help relief and restoration efforts in Central City, as well as just general thoughts for community building and helping to mend some of the anti-meta sentiment on a local level. He's starting to consider signing up with a guild in order to be able to do more good without getting taken down or discredited in preventable ways (thanks meadowlark for your contribution to his better judgement). Also, middle Loki bought and made magic a bar that's sort of part his now owing to their new magic club and he's thrilled. Onwards to wading further into magic cult business like a sane and sensible person.
