metaheroes! We're absolutely delighted to have you here. This is both our OOC introduction and plotting for your initial arrival! Please use the information below to guide your plotting as you settle in.

The GUILDS have begun employing safety measures to prevent new arrivals from destroying the cities they land in. As seen on the last TEST DRIVE MEME, the cities have set up ways to intercept the new arrivals and bring them to headquarters as quickly as possible.

The GUILDS have begun employing safety measures to prevent new arrivals from destroying the cities they land in. As seen on the last TEST DRIVE MEME, the cities have set up ways to intercept the new arrivals and bring them to headquarters as quickly as possible.
ARRIVAL - SUNSET FALLS, UNDERWORLD
This time, the skies of the world above remain peaceful. New arrivals instead find themselves plunging from the heavens of the afterlife, plummeting into any location of the player's choosing. They may seek an audience with Hades to demand answers, or be swept up by one of our intrepid heroes (or villains, or vigilantes) who can bring them up to speed on the (under)world they've fallen into.
The denizens of the underworld seem keen on them, though. Keener than the rest of those present. You may find yourself being followed by the dead, who remark on your warmth and light. If pressed they can't put it into words, you just seem so much brighter than even your fellow falling stars.
If players so choose, they can handwave their characters being picked up and brought to be DIADEM HOTEL.

LODGINGS —
Once the Guardian Alliance arrives in Atlantis to offer new arrivals an explanation and transport back to the surface, characters will be provided with lodgings in the DIADEM HOTEL. Here, guests are offered the finest home away from home experience you could ever hope for. Their culinary staff are capable of cooking up everything from hotdogs to gourmet cuisine. The pool, lounge, and fitness rooms are all open 24/7. Given the continued influx of new guests, arrivals may find their rooms have been double-booked. Hopefully it's a room with two queen-sized beds instead of a king!
Characters are also free to roam CENTRAL CITY and get their bearings, though at the moment, with the guilds distracted and the city doing major repairs following the damage by the Confluence, there is plenty of crime to stop or cause. Characters will be given cell phones with three months of pre-paid unlimited data and assistance with setting up social media accounts on the guild networks, as well as credit cards to help them start a life here.

Characters have two months to decide if they want to throw in with one of the guilds and enjoy the perks of membership, or deal with making their own way in the world without their support.

Character Name & Journal: Dr. Jane Foster (
Guild Affiliation: Jane is willing to listen to anyone make a case about their guild! Unless it's the MCU Loki, on account of his judgement kind of sucks and she has proof of that one. Anyway she's not actively looking to join up with a Guild immediately but she's a very logical person who likes knowing all the facts so she'll definitely listen when people talk about it.
Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: Her short term goal is mostly figuring out who's here that she actually knows and whether or not it's possible to go home. If Tony Stark can build an arc reactor in the desert with a box of junk surely she can build a wormhole generator and try to get everyone home. It's not hard or anything. Also she's a superhero or something now? And she's died twice so it's starting to get a little weird that she keeps coming back.
Pretty much on an OOC level I just want her to get to bum around being Mighty Thor for real and gently talking to the other Asgardians here like "Hey so...... once you get to Valhalla why would you get... called back? Is that a thing?" because she is, perhaps, going through it on that front.
Plot/CR Hooks: Science! Science! Science! Jane is a science girl first and foremost, and one with a specific interest in interdimensional travel so she's super into the idea of chatting with other scientists and learning what's up with this place and what's already been done. Maybe getting everyone home, even if she has personal reservations about that for herself.
Other than science, she got a fancy demigod makeover as a result of her fancy new hammer so MCU characters who are aware of her are free to go "... what's with the new hair, Jane" at which point she will neatly skip over the circumstances of her getting Mjølnir and say surprise! She's Mighty Thor now! Please don't ask more questions!
She's also pretty fucking bad at being a superhero since her current time limit is an hour before she depowers so I think it would be fun for people to stumble upon her with Mjølnir on her chest like an unruly cat and her arguing with it. The hammer talks, by the way. Only people who are worthy can hear it, but it absolutely talks.

I'm Chris, here with Angela from Marvel Comics aka Aldrif Odinsdottir aka Thor's older half sister who was kidnapped as a baby and raise by enemies of Asgard. She's very protective of all her brothers here, and she has worked with 616 Lady Thor in the past (though I'm not sure if she knows it was Jane). I've also got Robin Buckley from Stranger Things (

I'm Lylith and I play Jayce Talis from Arcane who just happens to be a scientist and a inventor too. Jayce also has his own giant hammer (doesn't talk, alas but it fires lightting blasts) and he is build like a powerhouse so...imagine Thor but with 7 PHDs and a borderline obsession with anything magic.
He's trying to build a Hexgate (a machine in his world that basically amounts to a teleporter) to find a way to go back home too. Maybe they could talk? I think they would go together like fire and gasoline. They could have never-ending conversations about stuff people barely understand about /nerds scientist to nerd scientist communication.
Also I am super stoked with the idea of seeing Mighty Thor! Jane around. Yes, perfect.

Otto can definitely talk a lot of Science! He actually has an arc reactor from Tony Stark that he, uh, acquired for reasons! He's also kinda supposed to be dead a few times over at this point, but he doesn't talk about that so much >>

But hopefully things won't be that bad. Also, the speedster is a member of the formerly dead club, although he never made it to Valhalla.
I also have a cat-shaped alien ooze. Sleeper is just Sleeper, the one sane, well-adjusted spawn of Venom. They don't even bother with the host deal, just being a naked symbiote who prefers to mostly play feline in every way possible.

Character Name & Journal: Saint-Germain,
Guild Affiliation: Saint-Germain is anti-monopolies-of-power. She is staying firmly UNAFFILIATED and if you follow your side because they say so, not because you believe in what you're being told to do, she may judge you.
Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: Saint-Germain is one of those Anime Villains (tm) who meant well but their methods wound up involving a whole shitton of murder - and, on top of that, she was tricked into doing the murders by someone who never intended to work on behalf of humanity anyway. Then she died performing alchemy on a nuclear missile fired at Japan by Donald Trump, because Symphogear is Like That. So now that she has received a second chance, she would like to actually be of use to mankind. She would like to liberate them from oppression! Which forms of oppression? YES.
Plot/CR Hooks: Saint-Germain is a NEEERRRRD! She's an immortal alchemist so she's used to playing a long game and being hypercautious - lots of experiments, lots of info-gathering, lots of highly technical and ideological discussions about the nature of reality and how man can exceed the power of God. While her hard work is all for others' sakes, and she's a Mom Type who tanks hits in battle if it means she can shield people and prevent unnecessary casualties, she has terrible people skills so sometimes she sounds really combative when she's just trying to hold a conversation. Then she doesn't understand why all of a sudden things are escalating.
Of immediate hook interest perhaps is that she is someone that Hibiki had really wanted to get to know but Saint-Germain blew herself up (see: Donald Trump, nuke) before they really had a chance to talk. So while she has no idea how to smalltalk, or indeed how to function in any circumstances beyond "I have a goal, here is a concrete, safe, and efficient way to achieve it", I fully expect her to be tossed into the fray of Hanging Out. Whoo!
Also I'm looking for suggestions where to drop her for her intro! Sell me on your characters' hometown.

Hell Mari, nice to meet you, I'm Lylith. I Play Jayce talis from Arcane. He's also a scientists/inventor nerd with questionable social skills (more the anxiety variety rather than problems with small talk) who just happens to look like a linebreaker. Perhaps they can chat one day and ramp up that nerdiness to eleven? what could possibly go wrong?
He got here last month so he's still in the Diadem hotel, but he's looking into Little Love because there people don't go around throwing bricks at people's heads. Also that city has a lot of space to build workshops, if you like barns.

Character Name & Journal: Carol Malus Dienheim
Guild Affiliation: Carol is perfectly happy wringing every bit of use she can out of the Society and pretending she hasn't tried the Apocalypse of All Things at least once.
Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: Carol is for realsies, totally seriously, a reformed villain. She spent about six hundred years (give or take about a hundred either way) preparing for the Apocalypse of All Things: A plan to alchemically dissect everything on the planet to the atomic level in order to "understand all things". In truth she was just lashing out and taking revenge on a world that she felt unfairly killed her father by placing the idea of miracles of a pedestal. For fairly obvious Symphogear-still-had-two-more-seasons-in-the-tank reasons, she failed.
She doesn't want to do that any more, but she is still a bottomless well of anger with no direction while simultaneously being an alchemist and researcher par excellence. She still wants to know everything there is to know about the world, and to elevate the value of knowledge that has been earned over the random and capricious vagaries of divine will and/or dumb luck. Perhaps if people can make sense of the world they can make sense of each other.
Also, she used to power her magic by burning her memories but given that this is her chance at a halfway decent life she's not to keen to keep marching on towards complete personality-death again.
Plot/CR Hooks: Carol is also a NEEEEEERD! She joins Saint-Germain in the immortal alchemist camp, but she's not nearly as nice a person. So if Carol sounds combative it is completely on purpose: She has been said to be as powerful as the other seven billion people on planet Earth combined, and came fairly close to killing the closest thing to God in Symphogear. Her middle name is "Malus" but it could also be "arrogance."
Basically she needs to have the stick slowly pulled out of her ass. It has been jammed a long way up.

Guild Affiliation: Alliance.
Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals:
Hibiki.Yeah, I joke a little but Miku does tend to focus on Hibiki a lot. Like, stupidly a lot. So right now her main goal is to get used to being here and start training since she doesn't have a lot of fighting experience right now.OOCly, I want to get her more friends outside of the Symphogear cast, and maybe at some point get her some more motivations for being in the Alliance and helping people besides "Hibiki's there" and "obviously it's the right thing to do". And also eventually have her figure out that she's gotten a few new powers besides what she's came in with that aren't immediately apparent.
Plot/CR Hooks: Well, Miku's first going to be exploring around the city where she's going to be living since she's moving into her girlfriend's place in Central City. So anyone who's near there can probably run into her rather easily.
She's also going to be looking into more of the Alliance everything, since she's joining them and wants to have at least some idea of what's expected of her.
She might also start screaming at some of the idol industry related people once she realizes just how overloaded Hibiki's schedule is, because again Hibiki priority above everything in her brain so sorry anyone else who's also involved there.
As for stuff that she does that doesn't revolve around Hibiki or new super hero things she's getting used to, she goes to a music school back home and was specifically studying piano, so she'll definitely also be trying to keep up with that and singing and just regular school stuff in general. So any other music students or just students will probably be able to easily find her.

Character Name & Journal: Tsubasa Kazanari
Guild Affiliation: Her friends are Guardian Alliance, she's used to working under government organizations, she'll sign up before she knows which way is up.
Character Motivations & IC/OOC Goals: Tsubasa mainly wants to establish who and what she is in a new place - identify what being in the Alliance actually means beyond their pitch, look at the entertainment industry and try to get in on the whole singing superhero path her castmates are trailblazing, and see if she can be something other than a complete disaster of a roommate.
Plot/CR Hooks: Main points of interest with Tsubasa. First off, while she's traveled a fair bit, she's like the most Intensely Japanese of the main Symphogear cast, so any other Japanese characters who've adjusted to the change in home country here has potential. She's very much into her swordplay, and would appreciate anyone who can practice or spar with her, although she doesn't need it necessarily. She'll be joining in on the idol hero thing Hibiki got started, so any interest from peers or fans alike would be welcome. Tsubasa also likes motorcycles a lot, and knows enough to do a fair bit of her own work to keep them running.
