GUIDELINES

This game has no minimum activity requirement for posts and comments. To this end, links to threads are not required. Please read the guidance below for how to check-in and register a continued interest in playing.

NEW PLAYERS
Players accepted in this calendar month do not need to reply to this post. Instead, visit the TAKEN CHARACTERS page and ensure that all character information is posted and up to date. Double-check that all your character's game information is correct — including community membership, character tags, and the listing on the GUILDS page.

CONTINUING PLAYERS
All continuing players must check in. Failure to complete the form below by the last day of the activity check-in period may result in characters being swept from the game. Players can reapply for their swept characters during the next application cycle. Players have until November 30th to reply.

FORM

The form below asks players to summarize their character's actions for the month. When completing the form, players should consider aspects of their characters' lives like work, resource gathering, interpersonal relationship development, personality growth, and how the character's reputation with the guilds and the world at large may have changed.

Players of these characters have passed their decision deadline and lost their residency in the Diadem Hotel. Therefore, this month, these players must link to the character's comment on the GUILDS page in their summary. (Remember that there is an Unaligned header!) This form creates a resource for others to check membership status as well as a record of employment and housing.

Please also remember to comment on the HOUSING page with any preferences. Characters who have commented to the Guilds page but not the Housing page will be randomly assigned housing at the end of the activity period.

Links are otherwise not required, but players who include activity links to threads in their summaries and/or make clear reference to the resources they're gathering and relationships they're building may find that their characters ICly receive extra support from the guilds when attempting to run plots.

Summary: Six has been largely doing prep work for getting through the winter in Little Love. Since things are more spread out and there's a risk of getting snowed in, he's been stocking up on extra food, firewood, and fuel for an emergency generator he had to haul out to the farmhouse by hand. (He's currently saving up for a used truck, but the guild stipend only does so much.)

He's also been getting used to the weirdness of this world. He helped the farmers of Little Love with their EVO meta potatoes issue. It's starting to help him build a reputation locally as someone to call when some of Little Love's weirdness starts getting a bit much. Even more impressively, he might be working with the Alliance but he's 100% human with no powers to speak of, all hard training which includes hauling supplies back to the farmhouse going both ways purely on foot.

Still, he's been making trips back and forth to Alliance headquarters to keep an eye on his nanites. He's also starting to realize that it's not likely these people can come up with the cure he's hoping for since they can't even get a single sample of the nanites.

Summary: Bart has definitely been out doing seasonal stuff for guild publicity as Kid Flash, especially hospital and hospice stuff, but otherwise he had a pretty low-key month. Except that his evil clone showed up at the end of it.

Summary: Sleeper is marketing what income they need off being an internet celebrity. They've also been helping out Red Hood with his gang when they're in Central, and looking after their brother. Definitely had a great Thanksgiving with the oozefam and Diana.

Finally, he's been called upon as part of Bart Allen's support network given the arrival of Inertia. His guild work has just been standard stuff for now, with him keeping a lower profile as much as he can while he plans other routes out of Excelsior if it gets bad.

November was a busy month for Jason! On top of his usual work as a criminal gang leader/vigilante, he spent most of the month setting up Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge. It's meant to be a BatFamily front to gather intel on criminals. Several people (mostly other BatFamily members) were hired to be employees. He also hired Mark Bryant to take pictures of the place for marketing.

Just earlier this week, Descendant had its grand opening with Jason being publicly known as the owner.

Overall, productive month and surely nothing will go wrong from this endeavor.

Summary: Hibiki has continued to pursue the idol life, now joined by many of her friends from home, even including her girlfriend. While at the moment, she's the only main participant in the idol life, she expects them to likely join her and help her out... once they're better settled in, of course. She's not made her girlfriend-status known to the public yet, but it'll likely come out eventually via Hibiki's own inability to keep that stuff to herself. That being said, the overwork is starting to get to her, and it started to show when the forerunner attacked and Hibiki started showing signs of sluggishness more frequently.
