PLAYER PLOT - HAPPY FATHERS DAY ♥

Things have been brewing across Meta for a few months now, right under your noses. Do you enjoy art? Do you just LOVE the aquarium for a date? Are you a big 'ole fan of all those dusty dinosaur bones? Well, so was Silco! And boy oh boy, does Jinx just loooove and miss dear old dad.
He's been gone a while now, see, and she's had time to stew, and vent, and become a little ball of simmering resentment. Fathers day is coming up, after all, so she's just had to make sure things are extra special. You know, for Silco.
Regulars of the Museum and Aquarium may have noticed that things and specimens have slowly been going missing. Priceless artefacts have vanished, a few giant bones are gone, a bunch of boring masterpieces, and, well, a whole bunch of fish. Like a lot of big giant aquatic life and mammals have been replaced by animotronic replicas. At first it probably looked like a gimmick, and some are designed to be extremely life-like. This month, though, the paints started to corrode fast, and little bits of bioluminescent-neon are shining through. By June, it'll be obvious they're Not Real.
The bigger exhibits of the museum will also be replaced, or have new additions attached.
They are all explosives, designed to go off at noon on fathers day. Jinx will take full responsibility, of course, but you'll have to catch her.
This will require a huge rescue effort from the Guardian Alliance and the Society. Jinx is unaligned, and this will likely have the IC knock-on effect of making unaligned folks' lives much, much harder.
The primary goal will be to get survivors to hospitals across both locations. During this time, Jinx will be largely MIA until captured sometime after the 19th. Jinx's capture is first come first serve, but it's best done in a group as she's capricious and extremely volatile. Characters with magical abilities who are able to knock her out are going to have the best chance at taking her in.
Once captured, she will be going straight to evil baby jail awaiting trial and will be ordered to do mandated therapy. She will be in jail for A While before being released under house arrest sometime after July - if you would like to dubious honour of taking her in then, this is also the place to. Do that.
This plot will contain character death, serious bodily harm, and probably the worst display of domestic terrorism Meta has seen in a hot minute.
- MAY 10TH - JUNE 16TH - the aquarium(s) and museum(s) will start to have their things replaced. Jinx's animatronic fish and mammals will be appearing. Several bones will be replaced by decently forged replicas.
- JUNE 18TH - A network post from Jinx will go live wishing everyone a happy fathers day, and will link to a log for the plot happenings. Everything will go boom. Cities in chaos. Lives destroyed. Jinx, delighted.
- JUNE 19TH - ONWARDS - Rescue missions continue and Jinx is captured and imprisoned sometime after this. If players want to decide on a set date, that's v cool and preferred. She will be in jail ICly by June 25th. If you would like to thread this out pls let me know in your plotting comment!

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS/PLOTTING STUFF: Leo will be in full turtle mode during this so if your character doesn't know him already feel free to react to this accordingly! I assume NPC reactions to him will also be pretty mixed, even as he's trying to save them haha.
Though Leo is currently aligned, his brother is unaligned, and he himself has also been thinking about quitting if things start to get too dicey with the Alliance. So he will be super unhappy if this makes it more difficult to live while being unaffiliated, and he'll be keeping a sharp eye on the social climate after this.

WILL THEY BE RESCUING? Yes.
WILL THEY BE ASSISTING WOUNDED? Maybe? At most he can monitor vital signs (heart rate etc.), reroute blood to keep it pumping and force organs to keep functioning, but he doesn't know any first aid or healing and has no medical expertise. At best he can keep someone alive until an actual medical professional or healer gets there.

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS/PLOTTING STUFF: He only has 30 minutes of ability time that can be used non-consecutively so he's going to be a bit limited/strategic in helping. As well, whenever Accelerator is using his powers any attempts to touch him will result in that limb being broken in some way.

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS/PLOTTING STUFF: I'll probably have him in one of the museums when things go down, he'd be good for reducing damage with his telekinesis, rescuing people, and he knows first aid. He's also very knowledgeable about bombs, which I don't know if that would come in handy after they've already gone off, but it feels relevant. The problem is he's also got PTSD involving bombs and blood so I'm sure this will be a real fun time for him.

He may be willing to team up with those who want to jail Jinx, but he will probably make himself a problem at some point because he's more interested in murder.
