GUIDELINES

This game has no minimum activity requirement for posts and comments. To this end, links to threads are not required. Please read the guidance below for how to check-in and register a continued interest in playing.

NEW PLAYERS
Players accepted in this calendar month need to respond with links to their TAKEN CHARACTERS comment and ensure that all character information is posted and up to date. Double-check that all your character's game information is correct — including community membership, character tags, and the listing on the GUILDS page.

CONTINUING PLAYERS
All continuing players must check in. Failure to complete the form below by the last day of the activity check-in period may result in characters being swept from the game. Players can reapply for their swept characters during the next application cycle.

Players have until 5PM EST on August 25th to reply.

FORM

The form below asks players to summarize their character's actions for the month. When completing the form, players should consider aspects of their characters' lives like work, resource gathering, interpersonal relationship development, personality growth, and how the character's reputation with the guilds and the world at large may have changed.

Please also remember to comment on the HOUSING page with any preferences. Characters who have commented to the Guilds page but not the Housing page will be randomly assigned housing at the end of the activity period.

WHOOPS. At the end of the day she got stung by hummingbees(?) and received the hunger status effect for...a few weeks. IT WAS BAD. But at least she met Archie and Pongo??

And now that the Central blockade against Alliance members has dropped, she is venturing to the Descendant with peace offerings. /o/

Summary: Like many, Donnie jumped in to investigate and face what strangeness and horrors the Shining God unleashed upon the Starfallen in Excelsior. August is Jason's birthday month so between that and the aftermath from the Downburst event, he might not be dealing with his feelings in the healthiest manner. Again.

At the end of July, Jason got hit by truth raptors during the monster attacks. Unfortunately for him, he confessed/nearly confessed some things like his stressed out mental state and the double life he's been trying to maintain.

Shortly after the battle, Jason told Mechanima that he and his gang are ready to go hunt down remaining cultists. He's going to take a trip to California soon to go kill an executive that had helped with Atomight's imprisonment. Good times.

Beginning of August, he and comics!Jason beat the hell out of each other because they were both having feelings they needed to burn off. This is fine.

Later in the month, he awkwardly met comics!Jason and YJ!Tim who got hit with the deage effect. And then YJ!Tim aged up into an adult and Jason gave him a drink on the house. Meanwhile for Jason's birthday, he's just trying to keep things low-key because he's not a party guy.

During the direct event, the black hole monsters took the forms of his parents and resulted in some freezing up and needing some of his family to help save him. When he aged up, he went way past his usual age and is currently catching up with his family as an adult.

Had a run-in with a zombified version of his parents and dealt with that trauma, has been working on his darkness manipulation skills, is all sus about Superman currently with having had an "encounter" with DCEU Flash giving him a warning (meant for dceu batman) during the memory mix-up thing, became small ten year old Bruce for a hot minute, and has been working on some (temporary??) version of a Batcave for himself as well as fixing up an abandoned dorm in Excelsior as a means to have a place to fall back on if needed.

Summary: Accelerator helped deal with Downburst, including assisting in a fight with another Level 5 and taking down Fantastic. He's a little concerned about Chaos Gate after all that and helping a bit with post-Downburst investigations, including looking into the Shining God's vectors he sensed and a handwaved trip to Arcadia to poke around with Leo and Donnie. There are plans to find Chaos Gate.

Following Downburst he went through a canon update, has been doing a lot of dreamwalking, where he met both Jasons properly and Leo learned about Last Order. He's also been suffering through so many age shenanigans. At least his older brother skills are getting put to good use??

August 31st is also the day he was shot in the head, so he's going to be thoroughly depressed about it.

With everything that went down he did not to get caught up in it until he had fully understood everything going on. He's been slowly siphoning money out of the debit account (buying items and returning for cash has its benefits okay) so he'll have a cushion when the money dries up. Nothing major he's done has affected anything since he's been keeping to himself and his family but he is planning to bridge out more soon.

Summary: This month was high-key chaos for him. He moved to NYC to live with his guardian, comics!Jason, met Damian in NYC, went to a party for the Tims, went to the mall with some Fellow Teens to escape the Coyote Ugly Nights happening at the Descendant. He also got a new suit courtesy Tony Stark and came up with a new hero name-- Wren. He and his new identity went to Excelsior in the aftermath of the Shining Goddess's wrath to help them out. Even though he wanted to Attack and Dethrone God, he reeled himself in and stuck to rescuing civilians and taking down the portal monsters. He also had some fun and definitely not traumatizing dream-sharing and aged up briefly. He's retained some of his memories of his future, though they'll start to slip away more quickly as time goes on. In summary, he's both okay but also overwhelmed and this || close to losing it under the wrong circumstances.
