Guidelines

THIS GAME DOES NOT HAVE ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS. Instead, players are asked to check in each month and provide a summary of what their character has been up to. Please consider things like work, resource gathering, interpersonal relationship development, personality growth, and how the character's reputation with the Guilds and the world at large may have changed.

YOU MUST CHECK IN. While we do not have minimum activity requirements, we DO require proof of life. You must submit the form below or you WILL be swept from the game.

NO LINKS TO THREADS ARE REQUIRED. However, players who include activity links in their summaries and/or make clear reference to the resources they're gathering and relationships they're building may find their characters ICly receive preferential treatment and extra support from the Guilds when attempting to run plots.

She also joined the Alliance Guild because they seem like the good guys and she really wants to continue her Hero studies and work even here. Summary: Kaneki is not vibing )= he arrived and found apparently he was in another world and some people know him. Not just that but he is also very worried about his own diet and biology and what heroes might want to do about that, so he joined the Alliance Guild in hopes to do things within the law and not be arrested for what he is. However, he is terribly worried they might turn around and kinda blackmail him into doing things he doesn't want. REGARDLESS, he has started his job as a barista at a local coffee shop and also joined university (Literature course). Honestly, he is just pretending he is normal, super super normal.

Summary: Jean has been arroundish. She helped to catch people falling/mitigate ground damage in each Confluence, destroyed the silver mechanical dragon (twice, in two very different roles) and joined the team working with Kamala to pacify Cerberus; she worked on mentally/emotionally pacifying the hellhound to make him less of a danger. Jean moved out on her (NPC) hotel roommate and in with Logan. Jean got X-23 to trust her the teeeeeeniest bit, during her adamantium poisoning.

Matthew has imprinted on her, which she hasn't entirely worked out yet. Jean & Bruce are tacitly info-swapping partners. She's been getting information from David about other setups like this in his previous world and helping Kaneki with the havoc of having people remember a different version of you. Jean is still Switzerland where it comes to Guilds (she'd pick Guardian if she had to, but she's not inclined to currently, and she has designs on trying to stick with her people/keep them together if possible, which does include all alternate-universe X-Men, too).

Summary: Allison's been super quiet this month so far, but she's here and around. She has a favorite coffee spot and has been running into other game characters there, both new ones and ones who look familiar (but aren't). She has gotten lucky that a few people have come from the same earlier game alternate-world she was in before this place.

She's still trying to figure out if she wants to build her portfolio for acting & modeling in a third world, and at some straw ends about her very few skills otherwise. By particular choice, Allison is hard-core unaligned guild wise and trying not to sigh at Luther being hardcore Guardian pretty much from the second he heard about it. (BUUUTT She's not above using his Guardian-perks to pick their third house.) Allison is taking her appearance here in a far more mellow four years of resignation rather than the initial distaste & rejection she had the last time someplace stole her like this.

After they were freed she basically took off to the woods around Central City and has been living there, surviving on animals she catches and also stalking people she has some interest in at a distance (whether in person or through the network). She has not be at her "room" since the day they were sent to the Hotel. This is her idea of settling in. Someone get this child into school.

The Society is intriguing and he's trying to decide whether to housing and funding are worth joining up with it since they'll allow him to do his own thing. Very interested in learning some secrets about people so he can use them for later (and maybe see visions of the future that will encourage him to want to help others again).

He's still super undecided about where to settle down guild-wise, and is sort of feeling other characters out on where they stand to see if something can sway him one way or another. In terms of making money, Eddie is thinking about making art, and only some of it might be forgeries.

Summary: Looma is mostly trying to make heads or tails of Earth and everything that comes with it, which she's not been very enthusiastic about. Mostly because all this studying is BORING and she just wants to FIGHT THINGS all the time like a proper warrior. Naturally, she's started the process of signing up for the Guardian Alliance, buuuut I'm kind of assuming that's going to be under review (in-game) for a while due to several complicating factors. Or whatever form that the equivalent procedural hurdle would take.

Because there would be several potential risks involved for the Guardian Alliance in entertaining the idea. Like her continued unfamiliarity with basically everything about Earth (nevermind things like the legal system), general lack of anything that anywhere in the country would recognize as proper education, and inherent nature as something of a walking PR headache waiting to happen. Despite her being a little older than most high schoolers excluding the super seniors, I kinda suspect she'd be strongly encouraged to attend in order to get full benefits or consideration. Something that might be fun to sit down and try to talk out with the mods.

Because a hot-headed walking tank with a small arsenal at her disposal and virtually no concept of how things work or what is and isn't illegal literally anywhere on the planet seems like the kind of person with the potential to unwittingly cause them a lot of very public problems.

But you're also welcome to simply handwave/summarize whatever groundwork would be helpful to you and move from there — you are not limited to summarizing things that you threaded.

He officially thinks Eddie and Logan are the smartest guys in town, and has decided Jean Grey can step on him whenever she likes. He's generally annoying the shit out of David, although not on purpose. Several people have explained to him that murder is wrong, which he's understood to mean "will get you in trouble." He's collected a lot of pamphlets from the guilds but has not made a solid decision, although the promise of an army of henchmen is making him consider the Society.

Summary: After falling from a great height during confluence 2.0, Stephen superheroed around with Batman, portalling wounded people somewhere safe; made some giant orbs in the sky to help Kamala lead a big doggo somewhere less populated; played bodyguard to field doctor Josh; and got in a fight with Loki that led to some incredible fic on the network.

After that he's been settling in: getting to know his fellow Confluence drop-offs, doing his research on the world they're in now, spending some time using his magic to help construction teams fixing up buildings around the city, and casting a nice little magical universe in the Diadem's ballroom on nights he can't sleep.

This has come heavily in the form of using his technopathy to access as much of the internet and what it all might mean for them. Other than that, David has tried to avoid making a choice on joining one powered group or other, still hoping he can get home. During all of this he has reached an awkward tension with Loki, the two switching back and forth between flirting, friendship, and conflict, all while David is trying to teach an elven noble named Vidana how to interact with a world like this one.

Summary: Logan, while never too concerned about money, landed in the city and immediately decided to set off to figure this out on his own— as usual. At least until the discovery of some familiar faces made him rethink his entire approach to landing in a strange world without a way back. With people to stick around for, he changed plans completely and set about trying to dig up as much information about the various factions that have approached him. Tapping both locals and other arrivals for whatever they know. As always he remains skeptical. When he landed, he offended the sensibilities of someone more upstanding than himself. Between that and his general cageyness with recruiters he's started to carve out the same sort of uncooperative reputation he's known for at home.
