After the battle he was forced to face that his partner has been changed by it, and the battles from there are only just begun. Ultimately it's going to result in damage to his apartment, concern over how Prodigy's identity will be affected by his conflict with Enigma (and old rumors of romance between them), and a serious question of whether Excelsior is right for him anymore.
