This post is an open forum for players to discuss the game. This may take two forms:

(1) OOC Game Environment:

The positive, the negative, and the neutral. Please feel free to talk about what you are enjoying, what you think needs improvement, etc. We ask that you try to keep discussions constructive.

(2) Plotting for IC Events:

Have an idea that you want to get going but need help developing it? Come here! Share what you've got and piggyback off one another.

Any threads that break the golden rule of respecting each other will be frozen. The idea is that this is a safe space to discuss the game and any issues that may be happening as well as solutions to those problems as openly and transparently as possible.

This is also a space for players to request help or offer assistance where other players may be struggling. The mods will also step in and try to offer assistance, guidance, or changes where we can.

You can offer private feedback directly to the mod team here and we encourage players to reach out to us directly where they feel our help or input is needed.

PLOT BRAINSTORMING

player plot ideas (or event suggestions????) i'd like to develop but only have the barest idea of right now:

• something (NPC? tech?) that depowers people (maybe something that makes them have to ... do scary/dangerous things while depowered for higher stakes??? squid games???)


• CULTS. people who worship the new confluence arrival PCs!! people who do weird shit because they think it's end of days!!! i want an excuse to play with sankta alina stuff


• Other Objects, not just powered people, coming in during Confluences. in FFXIV, NPCs use crystals + faith to summon giant primal monsters, so that seems like something that'd make a good action-oriented event with a chance to like ... steal crystals or fight monster-gods or whatever.

oooo, if you have no specifics worked out yet, i would love to run a small tabletop-feeling depowered squid game sort of plot ....... but i do this without having actually watched squid games all the way through, so i would SO GLADLY take input and assistance on something like that, haha. i'm just super interested in the nitty gritty mechanical details of plotting and organizing >:3

Gwen can probably help with this, once she realizes she's in a jamjar game and gains access to her format manipulation powers. Some kind of event where she takes over the game and throws in all sorts of fanfic tropes, etc. maybe?
