HOUSEKEEPING
⚔︎ We have updated the ENGAGEMENT POSTS, so please feel free to take a look at them! Players who are interested in creating a player plot or doing something at a larger scale can submit PLAYER PLOTS. If you want to follow up on an event, interact, engage or investigate the setting, or interact with a NPC, you can hit up SETTING ENGAGEMENT and NPC ENGAGEMENT respectively.
⚔︎ As a reminder, the mods are adjusting the structure of Confluences and arrivals. Confluences will be described in the OOC Intro & Plotting Post and there will not be a mod-posted log to accompany them. There will be a toplevel for players to ask questions, and another for new arrivals to post their arrival/intro logs.
Players are encouraged to post their own logs to play with these prompts. New arrivals are also free to handwave their arrivals, as the Guilds have set up means to catch players before they hit the ground.
⚔︎ For the July application round, any current player can extend one invitation. Players planning to invite someone this round should comment below with the player's information!

THIS MONTH
⚔︎ MAY ARRIVALS LOSE THEIR FREE RIDE! When characters first arrived, the guilds promised to help them get their footing. Per notices sent to each occupied room, characters have until JULY 26TH before their stay at the Diadem Hotel comes to an end. Characters who commit to a guild may take advantage of the associated housing subsidy or may use their own personal income to secure private housing.
Players unsure whether this affects their characters can check on the GUILDS page. As characters are removed from the Diadem Hotel, players should comment to the HOUSING page with updates on where they are staying. The deadline for June arrivals is AUGUST 26.
⚔︎ CENTRAL CITY — July starts off with a BANG! quite literally as bright colors light up the night sky. But it doesn't end there. Or end at all. Central City will be experiencing a booming month of nonstop fireworks. Not only is it an annoying disturbance but it's a fire hazard too. Be careful, it seems some of these fireworks are going off sideways instead of up!
If that isn't enough, the city will be seeing an increase in crime and murder and chronic bad luck for its residents.
⚔︎ LITTLE LOVE - On the flip side, Little Love is welcoming in the summer with a BBQ Festival and a fishing tournament. Looks like it's going to be a relatively peaceful month here, if you ignore all of those reports on UFO sightings anyway.
⚔︎ SUNSET FALLS - Animals in town are spooked. From the mice on the streets to the birds in the sky, creatures large and small will be acting nervous and frantic all month, their attention frequently darting towards the horizon. Even the magic in the air seems to have a certain restlessness to it.
Maybe it has something to do with that person across the street from you or the one spotted at your favorite spot in Sunset Falls. Say, don't you think they kind of look like you?
⚔︎ EXCELSIOR - Better do an inventory check and make sure all of your valuables are safe. Excelsior has caught a bad case of burglaries! From residents to businesses, expensive items and important data are being snatched up. Try to be a little more sensitive when instructing your virtual assistant though. Rudimentary AIs all over Excelsior have begun to gain sentience and yours might just be one of them.
